Beautycounter Cleansing Made Safer ~ Take Two

Cleansing Made Safe

Try doubling up on your beautcounter cleansers for ultimate skin care benefits. Start with one that removes makeup and sunscreen, then follow up with another to draw out impurities from deep within pores.

Doubling up on my beautycounter cleansers is something I have been doing for some time now. On Sunday I like to give my face a good clean, really refresh my skin which helps me feel ready for  Monday and the upcoming week. On Sunday I actually clean my face using three of the cleansers. I use the beautycounter charcoal bar to clean off my makeup (this was before the One-Step Makeup Remover Wipes were available). Anyways After getting the makeup off, I then apply the Beautycounter + No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask.

You can learn more about the beautycounter masks.

The mask  helps refine and smooth my skin. It helps absorb any excess oil that may have been on my face. The beautycounter no 3. balancing facial mask detoxifies my pores, purifies my skin, helps clarify complexion and helps my mu skin look clearer and more even-toned. After the mask has been rinsed off I usually then use the Rejuvenating Face Cleanser. Again this is just on Sunday.

Other times (about twice) during the week  I use the Nourishing Cream Exfoliator and then the Nourishing Cream Cleanser. I first start with splashing my face with water, and then I use a small amount about an almond size and massage in a circular motion. I then rinse thoroughly with warm water, taking care to avoid the eye area. After I exfoliate I use the cream cleanser. Anyways there are options with it comes to pairing your cleansers.

My husband was fortunate enough to get a counterman shaving set for Christmas. Let me say that he is in love with the counterman products. He has even shared the counterman products with several of his buddies who have never had such an easy shave, no breakouts or irritated skin and are beyond excited for the launch of this product in the Spring of 2018.

My husband was kind enough to let me take photos as he used the counterman set for the first time for me to share with all of you. Since he started using these products he has not stopped. I know you might be thinking that these bottles are not very big, but he so far has gotten them to last over 3 months now. Similar to most beautycounter products, you don’t need a lot. I would recommend no more then the size of a dime is needed. Of course this may vary based upon the size of the face.

A little amount goes a long way

Step 1: Rinse your face with the Beautycounter Counterman Start Fresh Exfoliating Face Wash. This is my husbands number one favorite product. He has not breaker out since he began using this. Prior to using the Counterman Start Fresh Exfoliating Face Wash he would use Beautycounter Charcoal Bar. He would still occasionally break out, but since this face wash, he has had a clean face.

Step 2: using the Shaving Brush, apply the Beautycounter Counterman Clean Shave Shaving Cream.

 

I think I mentioned that you don’t need a lot. This small amount of the Counterman Clean Shave Shaving Cream worked for my husband. He did say though that he uses the brush to really lather it on his face. By using the brush the shaving cream forms that frothy white mass of bubbles that men are use to with other shaving creams.  

 

Step 3: Applying the Beautycounter Counterman About Face Moisture Lotion. this is my husbands second favorite counterman product. I never expected him to enjoy putting lotion of his face so much. I can see why he enjoys it so much, because I have got to say, feeling his face after he has shaven with the counterman products, his face is smoother then out ten month olds bottom. Or so the expression goes. Let me just say with out going going in to TMI (too much information) that his face is smooth and I LOVE it. And again you can see he is not having to use a lot.

Step 4: Using the Beautycounter Counterman Soft Tough Beard Oil. So lets be real here, I just showed you photos of my husband with a none beard face and I have gone on about how smooth his face feels after a shavings. So of course how can I share with you what he thinks about the Counterman beard oil. Well I can’t share what he thought because of the obvious he does not have a beard. However I think I mentioned he has shared these products with many of his guy friends and some of them have beards and they have shared with me that they are beyond impressed with how smooth there beard feels after using it. I guess normally these guys would use conditioner like what they use in the shower, but this beard oil from what they have said is beyond better then conditioner.  

So there you have it. The Counterman products are amazing and this was just a taste what is to come in Spring of 2018 when the Counterman line launches. I am so excited for the launch and for once me the wife won’t be the only one.
